Angelo is the head of Casualty in Asia. Based in Melbourne, he leads our liability teams in Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia and China.
Angelo joined Liberty in 2009 in Melbourne as the head of Casualty Risk Engineering across Asia Pacific, before relocating to Perth where he added the role of Branch Manager of Western Australia to his responsibilities. Angelo has dealt with clients across construction, manufacturing, oil & gas, chemical plants, rail transport and infrastructure.
He holds Civil Engineering qualifications from RMIT, and a Graduate Diploma in Business Management.

Fazry joined Liberty in 2023 with 10 years of experience in different roles within turbine OEM and power generation companies.
Fazry holds a Bachelor Degree of Applied Science (Mechanical Engineering) from University of Toronto, Canada.

Hanghei leads the Marine Project Cargo and General Cargo portfolios across Asia. Hehas a strong risk engineering background and is involved in risk assessment across the full suite of our marine risks, including Commercial Hull, Ship Builder’s, Marine Liabilities and Exploration & Production.
Hanghei joined Liberty Singapore at the beginning of 2015 with more than a decade of experience working as a Heavy Lift and Transport engineer in the UK and Asia Pacific. His experience includes the conceptual planning and implementation of transport and heavy crane lifts for major projects globally, HAZCON risk assessment studies, method statements, detailed lifting and transport studies, heavy rigging equipment inspections and the technical review of subcontract tenders, as well as practical, on-site experience. During his time at Liberty, Hanghei has progressed to lead underwriting for the Asia Cargo portfolio.
Hanghei holds a HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering.

Imelda is Principal Risk Engineer supporting Singapore's Energy, Property & Construction Division.
Before joining Liberty, Imelda worked for FM Global in Malaysia and Singapore providing risk engineering/loss prevention consultancy services for Asian clients across industries including pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, chemicals, electronics and mechanical equipment manufacturing.
Imelda is a Chemical Engineer.

As Risk Engineer within Liberty’s Energy and Construction Division, Imran works with Liberty staff in Singapore, providing technical support for underwriting and claims for first party lines of businesses across Asia.
Part of this involves site surveys of commercial and industrial properties, as well as construction projects. The properties or projects can involve office buildings, hotels, as well as various kinds of manufacturing facilities within Asia.
Prior to joining Liberty, Imran spent 10 years as a risk engineer in FM Global, and 5 years in the construction industry in Singapore.

Joyce joined Liberty in 2010. She is responsible for liability risk engineering services in Asia and supports the Casualty Underwriting and Claims teams through technical advice and risk improvement recommendations. Her work involves surveys and reviews across products, construction projects and plant and utility operations.
Before joining Liberty, Joyce worked on environmental engineering projects in the HKSAR where she undertook site safety and project management roles. She has also worked on products and technical services in the construction industry and as an insurance loss adjuster.
Joyce has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hong Kong. She is a chartered mechanical engineer registered with the Engineering Council of UK and a member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers in the UK.

Tim supports Liberty’s underwriters, brokers and clients to understand the key technical, delivery and Professional Indemnity risks associated with engineering and construction projects.
Tim is an experienced engineer and project and design manager who has worked across a diverse array of industries, including agriculture, mining, water, oil and gas, desalination, power generation, manufacturing and construction. He has spent more than 20 years in the engineering and construction sector alone.
Tim holds a Masters in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical). He is a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) with Engineers Australia and a Registered Professional Engineer in Queensland (RPEQ).

Yeong Sheng joined Liberty in 2003 and heads up the Risk Engineering Division responsible for all risk management activities in Asia, supporting underwriting and claims as part of the Energy, Property & Construction Division.
Yeong Sheng has done extensive risk management work in Asia, including site surveys, in-house risk assessment and risk engineering/loss prevention consultancy, across industries ranging from oil, gas and petrochemicals to manufacturing, logistics, and IT.
A graduate chemical engineer, he has 10 years experience in risk engineering for the insurance industry.
Yeong Sheng’s non-insurance experience includes 7 years in the petrochemical industry in Singapore working on process engineering, operations, Greenfield project turnover and start-up.
